A status label on a topic, drawn as a solid coloured chip in front of the title — in every topic list and on the
topic page. Moderators pick it from a Status dropdown in the topic action bar, or on the new-topic / edit-topic
form. It is the free-standing answer to the paid "Status Labels" plugin on the FlatBB marketplace.
Ships with six labels — Resolved, Done, Waiting for Resolving, Scheduled, Fixed, Cancelled — and you can add your own.
Where it shows up
- before the topic title in every list (
topic_list.rows+topic.title); - before the title on the topic page;
- a Status dropdown on the topic page, for moderators (and authors, if enabled);
- a Status label field on the composer when writing or editing a topic.
Settings
Admin → Plugins → TabRe Status Labels → Settings.
| Setting | Meaning |
|---|---|
| Labels | One label per line: key\|Text\|#colour\|icon. The key is lowercase a–z, 0–9 and _. The icon is a built-in icon name, an emoji written as emoji:🔥, or empty. The text colour (white or near-black) is chosen automatically from the label colour so it stays readable. |
| Let the topic author set a status too | Off by default: only moderators and administrators set a status. |
Example:
resolved|Resolved|#16a34a|check
waiting|Waiting for Resolving|#f59e0b|clock
closed|Closed|#6b7280|Notes
- The status is stored in
fb_topics.metaunder the keytabre_status. No table, no core column, nothing to clean up. - Setting a status is a POST to
/t/{id}/status; the CSRF token and the permission are enforced. - A topic that waits in the review queue gets its status when a moderator sets it (the composer field is not carried
through the queue).
Uninstall
Plain Disable: the plugin stops drawing labels and the dropdown, and every topic keeps its meta untouched. The
labels come back if you enable it again.
