Members can report a post or a topic, and the staff get one queue for every report instead of scattered private
messages. Reports carry a reason and an optional note; moderators mark them Handled or Dismissed.
Where it shows up
- a Report link in the action row of every post that is not your own (
region.post.actions); - a Report button in the topic action bar (
region.topic.actions); - a small form at
/report/post/{id}or/report/topic/{id}with the reason
(spam, abuse, illegal, other) and a note of up to 500 characters; - Admin → Plugins → Reports lists new reports first, with a link to the reported content, the reporter, the reason,
the note and Handle / Dismiss buttons. The list is paginated.
Rules
- You must be signed in, and you cannot report your own content.
- One open report per member per item; a handled or dismissed report can be sent again.
- At most
max_per_dayreports per member per day (default 10). - A report is only accepted when the reported content still exists, is visible to you and is in a category you can read.
- Moderators and administrators get one notification per report (kind
tabre_report), unless notifications are
switched off in the settings.
Settings
| Setting | Meaning |
|---|---|
| Reports per member per day | Daily limit, 1–100, default 10. |
| Notify moderators and administrators | One notification per new report; on by default. |
Every action is a POST with the CSRF token; the admin page requires an administrator and writes an entry to the admin log.
Data and uninstall
Reports live in plugin_tabre_report (reporter, kind, topic/post, reason, note, status, who handled it and when).
Uninstalling the plugin drops that table; export reports first if you need them.
The manifest uses admin_pages, region.post.actions, region.topic.actions and notification.kinds.
