A flat, clean newsroom theme for technology and news forums: white panels on a quiet grey canvas,
hairline rules, compact topic rows with one shared rhythm and a single signal-red accent. No blur,
no gradients, no drop shadows.

Look

  • Masthead — a light bar with a compact wordmark, a thin rule and a rectified active menu item.
  • Topic list — one white panel. Every row uses the same 40px round avatar, one-line title,
    one meta line and one excerpt line, so the feed scans as an even column. Categories are solid
    accent pills; unread topics get a dot and a heavier title.
  • Navigation — the left rail keeps solid accent for the current page; section headings are
    small mono labels.
  • Topic page — a compact title, white post cards with a hairline border and a 48px round author
    avatar, comfortable reading measure, flat quotes and code blocks.
  • Profile and settings — flat cards, hairline stat strips and a quiet settings rail.
  • Support portal — the TabRe Support hero and service directory take the same flat panel.
  • Dark mode — deep blue-ink surfaces with brighter status colours and the same hairline structure.

Install

php flatbb theme:sync        # or "Scan plugins folder" in Admin → Appearance → Themes

Then Preview the theme and Activate when it looks right.

The theme is a plugin with 'type' => 'theme'; it ships no routes, tables or admin pages.
It loads assets/theme.css after app.css and every plugin stylesheet, so plugin pages keep
their layout and only take the flat surfaces.
