The points economy in motion (Discuz's 社区银行): members send points to each other and keep points in a vault that earns
a little interest every day.
At /bank
- Send points — pick a member (autocomplete from the same search the @mention box uses) and an amount. A fee
(a percentage, default 5%) is taken from what you send; the fee is burned, not paid to anyone. - Vault — put points in and take them out. The vault earns
interest_pcta day; a scheduled job pays it once a day. - Recent movements — the last transfers, deposits, withdrawals and interest, straight from the ledger.
Also linked from the /points page (a tile) and the left menu.
How it stays honest
The balance is still fb_users.points; every movement goes through points_add() with its own reason
(tabre_bank_out, tabre_bank_in, tabre_bank_fee, tabre_bank_deposit, tabre_bank_withdraw,tabre_bank_interest), so the history and the staff views are true. The vault is one row per member inplugin_tabre_bank_vault.
Settings
Allow transfers, Fee (%), Smallest transfer, Allow savings, Interest a day (%) (capped at 5).
Notes
- Interest is capped at 60 days of accrual per run, so a vault left alone for a year does not compound for a year.
- Transfers notify the receiver; the notification kind is
tabre_bank.
Uninstall
Disable hides /bank. Uninstall drops the vault table (money already in a vault stays in the member's balance,
since every deposit was already deducted from it — export the vault first if you need those amounts).
